The Heathland Course is a par 71 Scottish style Myrtle Beach golf course designed by Tom Doak, designer of now four courses ranked in the top 100 in the world. Known as the "most forgiving" of the three courses on-site, but plenty of challenge awaits - primarily from the unobstructed breeze constantly blowing over the Myrtle Beach golf course and the strategically placed bunkers that closely border all fairways. Heathland began by being rated as one of the "Top 10 New Resort Courses in the World" by GOLF Magazine in 1990.
Off-season: Juniors play free with a paying adult (one free junior per adult).
In-season: Junior rates range from $35 to $50.
Rain checks are issued due to inclement weather only and are issued at the discretion of the pro shop. If play begins on your first nine holes and your round is interrupted by inclement weather, 9-hole rain checks will be issued at the discretion of the pro shop. If play begins on your second nine holes of your round, no rain checks will be issued.
One of the top courses everyone needs to play when they're in Myrtle. Make sure to stay out of the long stuff, it gets pretty tangly.
